It would not be wrong to call Golgappa the most favorite street food of India. The taste of Golgappas comes from the sparkling tasty water. Its taste dissolves in the mouth only when the spices are properly dissolved in the water. In Bihar’s Gaya city, only one type of pani golgappa is available in most places, but today News 18 Local is going to tell you about a pani puri wala who offers five types of flavored golgappas here.
For the last 15 years, Jitesh Kumar has been selling Golgappa at Bajaja Road in Gaya city. The golgappas here are quite different from other golgappas in the city. Actually, Jitesh feeds Golgappas with five types of water in his place. Due to this, a crowd of people who are fond of Pani Puri gather at their place. This can be gauged from the fact that they sell Rs 2,000 to 3,000 in just three hours. Mint, amchur, peas, sweet and hajmola water flavored pani puri are available here. Here, in addition to six golgappas for Rs.15, five pieces of papdi are available for Rs.15. Different varieties are also given in this. Curd, sweet, sour, mint water and peas are given in Papdi.
Shop is set up from 3 pm to 6 pm
Although hundreds of carts selling Golgappas will be found in the whole city, but Jitesh’s Golgappas, which have been selling Golgappas for the last 15 years in Bajaja Road, are quite different from others. Due to the taste of five flavored water, a huge crowd of people is seen here. Every day from around 3 pm people who are fond of Golgappas reach here to eat Golgappas.
Talking to News18 Local, Jitesh Kumar says that his shopkeeping runs from 3 pm to 6 pm. In just 3 hours, they sell golgappas worth two to three thousand rupees. There is a huge crowd of customers to taste the five flavored water.
